What Green Key actually means

Green Key is an international eco-label for hotels, run by the Foundation for Environmental Education. More than 9,000 hotels and venues carry it, across 90+ countries.

Here is the part that counts. It is not something we award ourselves. To keep the label, we document how we run the building, open our doors to an on-site audit, and re-apply every year. Every year. Drop the standard, lose the key.

The audit looks at energy. Water. Waste and single-use plastic. Cleaning products. What we buy for the kitchen. How we train our teams. What we give back to the neighbourhood.

Your stay, exactly as you expect it

Sustainability should show up in the quality of the details, never in what has gone missing from your room.

LED lighting in all 215 rooms. Eco-friendly cleaning products. EV charging stations in Axis Towers. Local sourcing at Dumas Restaurant.

Big ideas need the right space to grow

Planning a conference, an incentive or a board meeting in Tbilisi. Chances are your RFP asks for a recognised eco-label, not a nice sentence about the environment.

Green Key is that label. Independently audited, internationally recognised, and something you can cite directly in your ESG and CSR reporting.

Add the rest. A ballroom and meeting rooms inside Axis Towers, on Chavchavadze Avenue, easy to reach on foot and by public transport. Your sustainability policy and your venue, finally in the same room.

Part of something bigger

We are part of Accor, which has committed to eco-certifying its entire network and works with Green Key as a global partner.

The commitment is global. The key is earned here, hotel by hotel, audit by audit.

Good to know

Is Pullman Tbilisi Axis Towers a certified sustainable hotel?

Yes. We carry the Green Key eco-label, awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education, for the third year running. Our 2026 certificate is on this page, and you are welcome to download it.

What is Green Key certification?

An international eco-label for hotels, restaurants, conference centres and attractions. It covers environmental management, energy, water, waste, sourcing, staff training and guest information, verified by documentation and an on-site audit.

How often is it renewed?

Every year. There is no version of this that you earn once and keep.

Does it change the guest experience?

Only in the sense that you should not notice it. Comfort, service and design stay exactly where they are.

Come on in.
